The 13th International Conference on Low Temperature Physics, organized by the National Bureau of Standards, Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory, and the University of Colorado, was held in Boulder, Colorado, August 21 to 25, , and was sponsored by the National Science Foundation, the U. S. Army. Ellipsometric measurements were conducted with a computer-controlled Gaertner L ellipsometer with a helium-neon laser (λ = nm) at an angle of incidence of 70°.
